Colloid science refers to the study of systems involving small particles of one substance suspended in another. Recently, colloid science has experienced a type of revolution, transforming itself from a collection of observations into a discipline with a solid theoretical foundation. It is now possible to synthesize materials with a hierarchy of structure, creating new properties or property combinations. Using the right architecture and synthesis techniques, colloid micelles are created. These systems can consist of different functional or structural molecular characteristics that "out perform" standard molecular structures by surrounding individual organic and hydrocarbon molecules and breaking them apart.
With colloidal science, a new approach to environmental issues and remediation has been discovered. Extremely effective products have been developed using non-chemical, all natural ingredients. These solutions are completely safe for normal use and require minimal (common sense) precautions. Not only are the products themselves biodegradable, but they also convert most organic and hydrocarbon contaminants into biodegradable waste. The result is reduction in time, expense, and safety hazards.
In addition to Biophysis products needing no special handling, permitting, or disposal, our innovative technologies are developed using proprietary ingredients from renewable resources and crops grown in the USA.
